F i . -.--A <br />3. Proposed rezoning of 416 W. LaSalle, mixed use to light industrial, near <br />West Washington NRD & local landmarks, hearing April 20, 3:30 pm. <br />The commission agreed by consensus to send a letter to the Board of Zoning Appeals <br />stating the commission's support of the Area Plan and the commission's staff report <br />against rezoning 416 W. LaSalle to (D-1), light industrial. <br />4. Children's Dispensary (Hansel Center): Tabled by the Chair of the <br />Landmark Committee) <br />5. Correspondence <br />JULIE SCHUTTE: Andy Laurent from Economic Development submitted the <br />documentation requested by the commission at the April 12'h special meeting regarding <br />the Oliver Plow Memorandum of Agreement. (See attached copy of summary from <br />Andy Laurent in your meeting packets). <br />LYNN PATRICK: I move that we grant John Oxian, Commission -President, the <br />authority to sign the Memorandum of Agreement for the Oliver Plow Forge Building #2; <br />upon receiving notice from the local Oliver Gang that they are not interested in <br />establishing a museum in the forge building. <br />JOANN SPORLEDER: Seconds the motion and it passes. John Oxian abstains. <br />6. Legal Report: Nothing to report at this time <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS <br />1. Hansel Center, Natatorium, St Stephen's Church; report of the Landmark <br />Committee Chair. Tabled by the chair of the Landmark Committee. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: None to report at this time. <br />Vii. ANNOUNCEMENTS & MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS <br />Martha Choitz stated that the upcoming historic preservation commission events and <br />training conferences would be invaluable to the commission. <br />VIII. .
