JOHN OXIAN: If you widen that driveway right now what I can see; I think that
driveway is wider than eight foot. That you are going to go over maybe another two feet
or a little over on either side maybe even two to three feet; if you do that then you are
going to have to trim back the bushes to the right. You would have to put in the motion
that the light fixture is in an ostentatious location.
NANCY ICKLER: What we need to do is move it back over, but we would definitely
want to keep the light fixture.
JOH OXIAN: The other thing that I would also recommend; and I know this is going
into the other area; but, since your talking about the bushes for pedestrian walling; I
would say that if you took out the corner bushes or move them back you don't have to
take the whole fence row down if you go about five foot or ten foot; you can almost tell if
anyone is walking down here by the time they get into this area any driver could see
them.
NANCY ICKLER: You could if you curved it around, but, the problem is that doesn't
address the fact that these bushes for their own health sake need to be moved back.
JOHN OXIAN: Well, what you would have to do whether you move it back or not; well,
in that area you would have to move them.
NANCY ICKLER: There we have to, so that's what we want to do is round it around
like that.
JOHN OXIAN: At least I would say, from five to ten foot would give you enough area
in which to see an individual walking down the sidewalk This would be the safest.
Are there any other questions on this?
JOANN SPORLEDER- Are we going to go one by one here or what are we doing?
JOHN OXIAN: What we want to do here is go one by one. All right, then make a
motion on the first one, someone?
JOANN SPORLEDER- I move that we approve the garage for application number 2002-
0513. I suggest that proposition number one to purpose new garage doors be approved as
recommended.
MARTHA CHOITZ: Second-
JOHN
econd
JOHN OXIAN: Any discussions? If not, then those in favor say aye. Those against say
nay. Motion carried unanimously.
JOANN SPORLEDER: Driveway widening part -two of the same application. I would
recommend --videnu g the driveway to an appropriate width that corresponds to the width
10
