JOANN SPORLEDER: It would be nice if we could have a little sketch of the grounds.
So that if we approve it we would approve it in such a way so that it reflects exactly what
we just said. Parallel straight out from the perpendicular to side parallel.
JOHN OXIAN: Wait a minute, Joann; Wayne has seen it; let's hear what Wayne thinks.
How wide do you think it is, Wayne?
WAYNE DOOLITTLE: I think it is wider than eight feet. I took photographs of it. I
think it's far wider than eight feet.
MARTHA CHOITZ: I think it is too.
JOHN OXIAN: Yes, because it comes almost to part of this garage right here.
WAYNE DOOLITTLE: It flares out with room to get down the driveway and get in
directly. I am not sure it needs to be doubled in size. I didn't have any trouble getting
out of the driveway myself. Whether it needs to be doubled in size I am sure I can't say,
because, you're not really dealing with a turn -around situation.
Are you going to tear up the existing driveway or just add on to it?
NANCY ICKLER: No, we are going to take up the driveway. It is badly cracked up.
JOHN OXIAN: What I would recommend is that for this one; I would not deny it; but, I
would recommend is that Wayne go out there with you and you do a drawing for us and
tell us how much of a width you want on this driveway, and also how close that is going
to be to the removal of those bushes or anything else over there. Because, before I vote
for this I would really like to know. I drive down Wayne Street a lot and I have no
problems there. But, the thing I want to see is a better drawing on what is going to be
done to this driveway; before, I make an approval.
NANCY ICKLER: Does that mean we can't start work: on the driveway until the middle
of the summer?
JOIN OXIAN: No, it means that part would have to wait until June, unless you want to
make a suggestion.
NANCY ICKLER: My suggestion is instead of having the inspecter reinspect it and
report it to the Standards and Maintenance Committee, have him meet at the site instead.
-- " - "- JOHN OXIAN: That would be a good idea; -because Martha is on that Committee and so
is Joann.
MARTHA CHOITZ: Unfortunately, I am going to be out of town for a fair amount of
time. I could be out there tomorrow.
7
