there's moisture in some of the bad wood underneath it could cause deterioration.
Second, it could be thicker than the window frames.
GERALD UJDAK: Mary Joie, Mary Jane, they have so much siding on that house now-,
they will end up having to put----
JOANN SPORLEDER: J -channeling around it.
GERRY UJDAK: There won't even be enough—they're going to have to build a frame
house, and then put the J -channel because; otherwise, there will be leaks all over the
place.
MARY JANE CHASE: Well, that is what the point is in removing the asphalt. We're
asking him to replace something without removing the asphalt first.
JOHN OXIAN: Do you know what the cost is going to be? Because, then you bring in
the Environmental Impact; that's when you bring in all .minds of environmental
regulations.
MARY JANE CHASE: I know, John, the point is we need to be aware of that possibility
for those windows.
JOHN OXIAN: I know, right, but the reason I ha -w gone this route; is because, of the
asbestos, and because of all the environmental problems it is going to create if he has to
remove all of that. Yes, there is
asbestos siding, though.
MARTHA CHOITZ: Something like this is going to cost anyway, this is something you
all should really wonder about.
