Bouskill <br />BOUSKILL RENOVATIONS, INC. <br />1326 Miami Street <br />South Bend, IN 46601 <br />RE: 612-614 Carroll Street; Application # 2002-0128(a) & (b) <br />Dear Mr. Bouskill: <br />Rhonda Saunders, Director <br />I have received and reviewed your Application for renovation work on the house at 612 <br />and 614 Carroll Street. The only crucial item missing was the $10.00 Application Fee which is <br />supposed to accompany it. Please send that at your earliest convenience. <br />The part of your Application relating to replacing the asphalt shingle roof we immediately <br />approved, and the Certificate of Appropriateness for that work is enclosed. I have given a copy to <br />the Building Department, so there should be no delay when you go to get your Building Permit for <br />the roof. <br />The part of your Application relating to garage doors and rear steps will be placed on the <br />Commission Agenda for 7:30PM, Monday, February 25. I expect your matter to be the first item <br />on the agenda. <br />The Commission generally approves changing from swing -out to overhead garage doors, <br />provided that the owner either give the new door the appearance of the original type of door, or <br />demonstrate that the door is not visible from the street. Similarly, I would expect the rear steps to <br />be approved, if you can supply some information as to what the new ones steps will look like. <br />Please do call if you have any questions, or if there is assistance which we may provide. <br />Yours, <br />Karen R.
