JOHN OXIAN: I will make a motion that application 2002 -0711 be tabled until the <br />September meeting. <br />MARY JANE CHASE: I second the motion. <br />GERALD UJDAK: All those in favor say aye. All those against say nay. The motion <br />carries unanimously. <br />B. HEARING OF VISITORS <br />John Oxian, as chairman of the meeting, noted that visitors were present and had signed <br />their names on the sign -up sheet so that they would be able to speak. When it came time <br />for hearing of the visitors, John not seeing the visitors in the room, the chair then asked <br />Tom Bodnar to look and call for the visitors in the hallway. When the visitors were not <br />found, the chair decided to go on to the next item on the agenda. <br />III. A. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES <br />JOHN OXIAN: This is the complete copy for the May minutes. <br />Discussion was held among commission members about the length, content, and <br />accuracy of the minutes. Members also discussed what would be the best way to have <br />the minutes condensed in length and content and still have an accurate account of the <br />meeting each month. <br />CATHERINE HOSTETLER: I want to make a correction on page three of the minutes. <br />Karen did not make a motion on this item; because, Karen can not make a motion on <br />anything in our meetings. So this mistake needs to be corrected. <br />I move that we accept the minutes as amended. <br />MARTHA CHOITZ: I second the motion. <br />JOHN OXIAN: All those in favor say aye. All those against say nay. Motion carries <br />with Joann abstains. <br />B. TREASURER'S REPORT <br />JOHN OXIAN: Mary Jane is going to give you a list of corrections, and what she feels <br />should be from now on through in the budget preparation that she wants you to give to <br />her. She will make up recommendations and you will follow them. <br />MARY JANE CHASE: This is the middle of a year, and it was just what was spent. It <br />does not give an adequate account of information on many, many things. I don't think <br />that this ever was done in the past from what I understand. I would like to make a list of <br />what would be important to have on a monthly report and then pass it on to Karen and <br />q <br />
