We have been neighbors of Mr. Philippis for 4 1/2 years and I <br />frequently avoid speaking to him since I know that if Isay hello, there is a good chance <br />that he will rant at me about something or other that he feels I should do or should not <br />have done. <br />6. Mr. Philippis' Bergan Street neighbor is as opposed allowing further <br />mutilation of this old walnut tree as my mother and I are (my mother and I jointly own <br />the house at 2119 Portage), and has suggested that we make a statement asking to have <br />the tree preserved and have all the neighbors sign it. He is of the opinion that they <br />would be happy to do so. <br />7. I have not spoken to Mr. Tom -Watson about giving you a statement regarding <br />the old walnut tree as you said that you planned to call him. If you would like me to <br />request a statement from him, I will make that request. <br />If you think any of the above suggestions would be useful, I would be happy to do <br />them.
