2. 333 TONTI

JOHN OXIAN said that there is no other Dutch Colonial style house designated as local
landmarks. He and Rhonda Saunders have spoken to the landlord, who lives in Chicago, but
have received no indication as to her feelings regarding landmark status.

RHONDA SAUNDERS indicated that the house is presently occupied as a rental, and that the
owner will probably be selling it soon, we do not know to whom.

MARTHA CHOITZ remarked that the house is unusually nice.

RICHARD MORRISON moved that this house be referred to the City Council as a proposed
local landmark.

MARTHA CHOITZ seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously.

3. 224 West Colfax

JOHN OXIAN said the owner, Beth Hamilton, has spoken to him of her pride in the building,
her intended renovations and restoration (mostly to the interior). She is 100% in support of
landmark designation for her building.

RICHARD MORRISON moved that this building be referred to the City Council as a
proposed local landmark.

CATHERINE HOSTETLER seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously.

III. REGULAR BUSINESS
A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

GERALD WEINER moved that the minutes be approved as written.

CATHERINE HOSTETLER seconded the motion, and it carried unanimously.

B. TREASURER'S REPORT

GERALD WEINER indicated that the materials distributed were complete, and asked if there
were questions.

JOHN OXIAN represented to the Commission that he and Treasurer Gerry Weiner, in asking
the City to approve budget increases and transfers for this last year, for raises and for
additional staff, had agreed, in exchange, not to ask for increases beyond what the Council
might appropriate, for the following year.

JOANN SPORLEDER moved that the Commission accept-the-Treasurer's- Report_ as
submitted.

Oil
