EDWARD TALLEY: The Staff recommends that this application be approved as <br />submitted. <br />MARTHA CHOITZ: I move that the application for a Stockade style privacy <br />fence at 229 Navarre Street be approved. <br />RICHARD HELMUS: I second the motion. <br />JOHN OXIAN: I am going to vote against this application. I have always been <br />opposed to privacy fences; they do not belong in historic districts. <br />After due consideration, the following action was taken: <br />Upon a motion by Martha Choitz, being seconded by Richard Helmus and carried <br />with John Oxian voting against, the proposed Certificate of Appropriateness for <br />installation of a rear yard privacy fence at 229 Navarre, South Bend, Indiana, be <br />approved as recommended by staff. <br />C. 2000-0414,218 W.
