323 <br />324 After due consideration, the following action was taken: <br />325 <br />326 Upon a motion by Mary Jane Chase, being seconded by Catherine Hostetler and <br />327 carried unanimously, the proposed local landmarks at 2300 Portage, 405 & 427 N. Main <br />328 and 19701 Cowles were tabled until July, September and August of 2000. <br />329 <br />330 <br />331 B. 50157 Clover, Lowry Farmhouse. <br />332 <br />333 RHONDA SAUNDERS: I have supplied the information the Commission required <br />334 and have written a new staff recommendation recommending only that the land <br />335 surrounding the house and barn be landmarked and not the property located across the <br />336 street. <br />337 <br />338 JOHN OXIAN: Has the staff heard anything from the homeowner? <br />339 <br />340 RHONDA SAUNDERS: I have not heard anything from the owner. A letter was <br />341 sent to the owner notifying them that the Commission has decided to continue, but, has <br />342 tabled the issue for another month so more information. <br />343 <br />344 JOHN OXIAN: Lets take a vote on the proposed landmarking and I will get in <br />345 touch with the owner. <br />346 <br />347 JOANN SPORLEDER: What exactly will the motion include? What is the correct <br />348 legal description for the property surrounding the house? <br />349 <br />350 RHONDA SAUNDERS: The legal description is attached to the staff report. It <br />351 currently includes the land across the street; however, I can easily remove that portion of <br />352 the land from the description. <br />353 <br />354 JOANN SPORLEDER: According to the aerial map the owner owns more property <br />355 to the west of the house. <br />356 <br />357 RHONDA SAUNDERS: I did not notice the extra lot located behind the barn and <br />358 house. <br />359 <br />360 JOHN OXIAN: Then maybe this issue should be tabled until July so that the Staff <br />361 can create a new legal description only encompassing the property immediately <br />362 surrounding the house and out buildings. <br />363 <br />364 I move to table proposed local landmark, 50157 Clover Road, until July. <br />365 <br />366 <br />367 JERRY WEINER: I second the motion. <br />368 After due consideration, the following action was taken: <br />8 <br />
