Stapp designed, Tudor Revival style <br />house in 1926. They rented the house to Otto Pfaff, secretary/treasurer of the American <br />Foundry Equipment Company in Mishawaka. Otto and his wife, Kathleen, only resided at this <br />address for one year after which the house was rented to various people until 1931 when it was <br />sold to Albert Kendall. Mr. Kendall continued to use the house as a rental, leasing it to <br />Benjamin and Sydell Traub in 1934. Mr. Traub was the president and founder of the Interstate <br />Glass and Paint Company. They resided here until 1936 when they relocated to 1219 E. Wayne <br />South. -Mr. -Kendall -sold -the -house -that -same year to Philip Sanders, co-founder and <br />superintendent for the Sobenite Company which made plastic products for cars, such as, radio <br />knobs, door handles and cigarette lighters. Mr. and Mrs. Sanders resided here until 1949 when <br />they sold the property to Dr. John R. and Virginia Lionberger. Dr. Lionberger practiced at <br />Radiology Inc. They lived in this house until 1954 when the house was sold to Dr. Wallace and <br />Harriet Tirmar. They owned the house for fifteen years, selling it to Richard and Caroline <br />Buechler in 1969. Mr. Buechler was a salesman for Marathon Oil, he and his wife resided here <br />until 1984 when they sold the property to the current owners, Greg and Monica Anders. <br />
