1253 Diamond <br />Historical Context <br />This property is located on the west side of Diamond Avenue, south of Portage, <br />in South Bend, Indiana. It is described as being lot 368 Vassar Park Addition to South <br />Bend. <br />The house was built in 1920? (Data is incomplete per Rhonda) <br />Louis ex Lucile Hasly sold the house to James 8z Yvonne Cullather on July 7, <br />1963. On November 2, 1993 the house was purchased by Sahag Oxian. <br />ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION <br />This is a two story vernacular style house is rectangular in plan with a brick <br />foundation and wood shingle siding. The roof is a low pitched,, cross gable with fascia <br />and wood soffit. The house has a fully enclosed front porch With gabled roof, three over <br />one Windows and brick piers at the comers. The Windows are ten over one double hung <br />along the front facade and eight over one double hung along the sides. The house also <br />has a wood panel front door with large lights and aluminum storm windows and door. <br />
