3. Historic Landmarks <br />a. 1240 West Thomas <br />Mr. Talley presented the staff report and circulated photographs. Mrs. Hostetler moved to <br />accept the nomination and send it to the Common Council with a favorable recommendation. <br />Ms. Gallagher seconded the motion. Staff Reports <br />1. Miscellaneous Activities & Grants <br />Mr. Talley stated he has received approval from the County to attend a Tree Seminar in LaPorte <br />on May 20, 1999, and would like permission from the Commission to attend this meeting as <br />well as the SHPO Conference to be held in June. Ms. Gallagher moved to approve Mr. Talleys <br />attendance at the Tree Seminar on May 20th and at the Regional SHPO Conference on June 9 to <br />11th. Mr. Helmus seconded the motion. Hearing of Visitors <br />Mr. Sporleder noted that the Notre Dame students have finished their HABS project on the <br />WPA House. <br />VII.
