7ieldstone Water Fountain (due south of 803 N. Notre Dame Ave.) <br />eonlDe!�,criotlon: Lot 1 C.L.HodSon"s Sub, of Lot 24, 25 of <br />=.'s 1st. =-~~... <br />Prop rt�� owned by the City of South Bend (1991). <br />This simple fountain was built circa 1915 by neighborhood <br />residents and firehouse workers from Firehouse #7 next door. The <br />corner was also landscaped with evergreens and various Flowers <br />were planted. It was maintained for many years by local residents <br />before -failing into disrepair twenty or so years ago' Some of the <br />People involved in the prujeo�_ wer*: Bill Williams, an <br />electrician, his brother Jack, a bricklayer and Jim Scott a local <br />carpenter. <br />Source: Conversation With Arthur J.
