Sunnyside Street South Bend, IN 46615 E -mail: ewgaither2 @aol.com 219 - 2334812 During the spring and summer of 1999 we would like to accomplish certain repairs and additions to our home on 344 S. Sunnyside. 1.Relandscape perimeter of house 2.Replace existing roof 3.Replace siding or repair and paint cedar siding under existing aluminum siding should the condition warrant. 4. Build a portico entrance at the front door. 1. The landscaping surrounding the house is quite old and woody. It is time that these shrubs be replaced with new zone friendly shrubs. Please see attached drawing. 2. The roof will be completely removed and replaced with Certainteed Landmark roofing, 30 yards fiberglass, architectural shingle. 3. The existing siding is quite old, we believe about 30 or more years. Many parts are dented and in need of repair. It is our hope to completely remove the siding take a look.at the existing cedar and hope to repair and paint. The colors will be linen, with white and dark hunter green trim. Should the cedar siding under the existing aluminum siding be in ill repair we will replace the aluminum side on the house - with a top grade vinyl siding in the same colors of linen, white and hunter green. 4. A front portico roof will be constructed above the sunburst window to allow the architectural feature to be enjoyed both from the inside and the outside. We find it very awkward not to have a roof to keep weather off people, mail, and the front door. Please see attached drawing /plans. It is with great hope that these plans and repairs fit into the guidelines of the society. Our home is not what is considered to be historical since it was built in 1949.
