South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Rescheduled Regular Meeting - January 2, 1997 <br />4. COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were no Communications. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />There was no Old Business. <br />6. NEW BUSINESS <br />a. Public Hearing on Resolution No. 1485. <br />Mrs. Kolata asked that the following items be <br />entered into the record: Affidavits from the <br />Tri- County News and South Bend Tribune that <br />the Notice of Public Hearing was published in <br />those newspapaers on December 20, 1996. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that this resolution <br />appropriates tax incremental funds in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area. The <br />appropriation is in the amount of $1,732,500 <br />and will be used for public improvements in the <br />Sample -Ewing Development Area. The public <br />improvements include the remaining acquisition <br />and relocation activities to be undertaken in the <br />Southeast neighborhood, as well as public <br />improvements in the neighborhood. <br />Mr. Hunt opened the Public Hearing for <br />anyone who wished to speak regarding <br />Resolution No. 1485. There was no one who <br />wished to speak regarding Resolution No. <br />1485.
