The staff <br />recommends extending that lease until <br />June 30, 1997. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hojnacki, <br />seconded by Mr. Hunt and unanimously <br />carried, the Commission approved the <br />Addendum to Real Estate Lease between <br />the Commission and Design Packaging, <br />Inc. <br />o. Commission approval requested for <br />Agreement for Purchase and Sale of <br />Real Estate for property at 529 <br />Crescent Avenue. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that a purchase offer <br />was previously sent to Handling <br />Technologies, Inc. for property at 529 <br />Crescent Avenue. She noted that the <br />property is immediately adjacent to and <br />up the hill from Design Packaging, Inc. on <br />Niles Avenue. <br />She stated that the staff sent a purchase <br />offer that authorized $40,000 payable in <br />four installments of $10,000 a year to <br />Dennis Hartman, the owner of the <br />building. <br />She stated that Dennis Hartman made a <br />counter offer in the amount of $28,000. <br />Dennis Hartman stated that he would <br />accept a lump -sum cash payment, if it <br />H:\ HOME\ CPHIPPS \WPDATA \COMMSN\120696.MIN -16- <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE ADDENDUM TO <br />REAL ESTATE LEASE BETWEEN THE COMMISSION <br />AND DESIGN PACKAGING, INC. <br />
