It was constructed in 1903 and purchased
in 1904 by its first occupant, Ward L. Mack, general agent
for the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. The
structure is frame with a mixture of clapboard sidings and
a hipped roof. A single story front porch extends the full
width of the facade. The front porch and foundation are
constructed of painted concrete block molded_ to simulate
split face stone. A 3 bay garage at the rear of the
property is constructed of this same concrete block with a
hipped roof.
PROPOSED CHANGE
The applicant proposes to construct an open porch at the
rear entry and complete enclosure of a section of the rear
yard with new fence (see attached porch & fence plans &
details) Removal of non -historic concrete steps and metal
railing is required.
