Call to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:40 p.m. <br />7th floor, County Commissioner's <br />Conference Room, County -City Bldg. <br />II. Roll Call <br />Members present: Mrs. Martha Choitz, Mrs. Catherine Hostetler, Mr. Jed Eide, <br />Mr. John Oxian, Mrs. Joann Sporleder, Ms. Jewel Van Dalsen, Mr. Jerry Wiener <br />Members absent: Mrs. Janeanne Petrass, Ms. Lora Spaulding <br />Staff present: Chip Frederick -Administrative Assistant <br />Also present: Ms. Aladean DeRose-Deputy City Attorney, Ms. Anne Bockenkamp- <br />Neighborhood Housing Services, Mr. Ed Talley-RD-LHD liasion <br />III. Public Hearing <br />A. Certificates of Appropriateness <br />There were no applications for C of A's scheduled for this meeting. <br />IV. Regular Business <br />A. Approval of Minutes -September 20, 1993 <br />Commissioner Choitz moved to approve the minutes as printed. Commissioner <br />Hostetler seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. <br />B. Treasurer's Report <br />No report. <br />C. Correspondence <br />Commission members read the letter from Karen Kiemnec, Director of the Northern <br />Regional Office of HLFI regarding a request for funding the CLG workshop planned <br />for the summer of 1994. <br />D. Committee Reports <br />1. Staff Approved C of A's <br />Mr. Frederick provided the details of two staff approvals; 525 Edgewater <br />Drive-EP-LHD and 1618 East Wayne-EW-LHD, both of which were reroofing jobs. <br />2. Budget and Finance <br />No report. <br />3. Legal <br />Ms. DeRose announced that the 5 year delay in demolition ordinance had <br />been corrected and submitted. <br />4. Historic Districts <br />Commissioner Eide reported that he had spoken to persons wishing to form <br />a new LHD in Mishawaka. <br />5. Historic Landmarks <br />Commissioner Oxian announced the first reading on the Indiana Club located <br />at 320 W. Jefferson. <br />
