MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION Regular Monthly Meeting 7th Floor, County Commissioner's 7:30 p.m. Conference Room, County -City Building January 18, 1993 I. Call to Order The meeting was called to order at 7:41 p.m. II. Roll Call Members Present: Mr. Jed Eide, Mr. John Oxian, Mrs. Janeanne Petrass, Mrs. Joann Sporleder, Ms. Jewel Van Dalsen. Tribune. III. Public Hearing A. Certificates of Appropriateness. 1. 944 Riverside Drive -- Riverside Drive LHD Ms. Kotzbauer read the staff report describing the proposed project: owner wishes to replace the rear and side metal storm doors with Grisham Steel metal security storm doors (model SD102) that match the security storm already in place on the front entrance of the home. Ms. Kotzbauer explained that the staff recommends approval of the proposal, and the staff had suggested the use of another model(SD133) that was more stylistically appropriate to the house. The owner, however, remained in favor of the SD102 model because it matches the existing front door. Mrs. Sporleder and Mr. Eide asked several questions about the position of the house. Mrs. Sporleder inquired as to whether the owner was present; Mr. Holycross indicated that the owner was not present. Mrs. Sporleder moved to approve the proposal as submitted. Mr. Eide seconded the motion. 0 No discussion. 1
