Thirteen <br />years ago I invested in this home in a partnership with my <br />mother. Tt was an abused rental property in very poor condition <br />both internally and exter_nAl_ly. It is very difficult to rationalize a <br />heavy expenditure on a property to which I cannot even recoup my <br />direct costs. <br />It is nearly -impossible to get insurance on this house, primarily <br />because the house is so old andin a transitional, neighborhood. <br />Features like tie chimneys, for which there are no stoves in the <br />home', still.make insurance companies leery of providing coverage. <br />Mike Wilson and -his wife, Mary rent this property from and are <br />exceptional tenants, as well as personal mend's. since Mr. <br />Wilson has resided in the neighbarhood for two years before even <br />renting my home,; he is very knowledgeable of the upkeep on this <br />home and the deterioration of the neighborhood.
