Mr. Holycross explained that this proposed landmark had been considered in March; there was
question as to the size of the property; staff had determined that the correct acreage was 47 acres,
not .47 acres.
Mrs. Sporleder asked whether the proposal was to designate the entire 47 acres and whether
documentation of the legal description was being obtained. Mr. Oxian answered that past practice was
to determine everything that existed on the property including woods. etc.
Mrs. Sporleder suggested that documenting of landscape features, including an aerial map be
obtained. Mr. Holycross replied that he would be glad to obtain that information in the future when
staff was available.
Mr. Oxian suggested the necessity of obtaining a grant to document such features throughout the
county. Mr. Holycross replied that staff had received notification of the Urban Forestry grant to
document landscape features in the city; staff intends to make such things a standard part of
landmark documentation as soon as possible.
The motion passed unanimous.
IV. These city departments were investigating the
complaints; the owner must also be more involved in alleviating the various concerns in partnership
with the HPC.
Mrs. Choitz asked about the property's zoning. Mr. Holycross described the zoning.
B.
