The window chosen will he <br />reviewed and approved by the HPC staff. <br />?) Completely side over the opening with wood 1-ap- <br />board to match the existing siding. <br />3) Document econc.mic hardship that replacing the window <br />would cause. <br />You chose course of action #3'. A committee meeting was held <br />February 12, 1992, at your request; the purpose of the committee <br />meeting was to hear your case for economic hardship =s per the <br />outlines of options stated above. <br />The removal and replacement cost for complying with the <br />Commission's determination as quoted by your partner, Ms. Manion, <br />in her letter of February 12, 1992, a sum of "a minimum of $500", <br />was agreed to be a reasonable estimate for the window's <br />replacement based on similar figures gathered by the HPC staff <br />and on the professional experience of the committee members. <br />This figure was compared to the total cost of your renovation <br />Project --,"over $12,000" --as cited in Ms. Manion's letter dated <br />January 20, 1992. <br />The committee determined that these costs did not represent an <br />economic hardship.
