NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />e. continued.... <br />John Stark noted that the Dreisbach <br />Building is made up of three parcels that <br />total 115,000 s.f of property. The <br />minimum purchase price is $253,075. <br />There were two bids received for the <br />property: the first bid is from SSP <br />Properties who proposes to construct one <br />15,000 s.f. single -story building <br />contingent on approval from GSA, to <br />build a Social Security Administration <br />Building and contingent on the <br />environmental investigation. They also <br />propose a second, two story building on <br />the south portion of the property, <br />although there is no guaranty the second <br />building would ever be constructed. <br />Their bid price totaled $150,000. <br />The second bid is from BCP Partnership <br />to construct a mixed -use facility, utilizing <br />the existing building and also new <br />construction. BCP Partnership's <br />proposed project will consist of light <br />manufacturing, storage and retail or <br />service frontage. The BCP Partnership <br />offer is contingent on environmental <br />investigation and whatever remediation <br />might be necessary. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that she had spoken <br />with a GSA representative and they <br />stated that there hasn't been a decision <br />made on the location of the building for <br />the Social Security Offices, that the <br />request for proposals had not gone out as <br />of that time.
