Call to Order <br />The meeting was called.to order at 7:40 p.m. <br />II.. Roll Call <br />Members Present: Mr. John Oxian, Mr. Bill Welsheimer, <br />Mrs. Janeanne Petrass, Mrs. Martha Choitz, Mr. Jed Eide, <br />Mrs. Jean Dennen, Mr. Odell Newburn, Mr. Herb Herendeen, <br />Ms. Aladean DeRose - City Attorney, Mrs. Lori Dixon - <br />Director, Mr. Jim Pastor - Survey Manager, Mrs. Tina Comer - <br />Secretary. <br />Members Absent: Mrs. Joann Sporleder <br />III. Public Hearing <br />A. West Washington Historic District <br />Mrs. Dixon presented the nomination <br />for a boundary increase to the West <br />Washington National Register District. <br />She stated that,.in response to her <br />notification of the public officials, <br />the mayor replied that, while the City <br />does not object to the nomination, <br />they requested that the issue be tabled <br />until a member of the HPC Staff could <br />meet with members of the Neighborhood <br />Organization. Mrs. Dixon suggested <br />that the Commission might approve the <br />nomination pending the public meeting. <br />Mr. Newburn moved to approve the nomination <br />with the stipulation that Mrs. Dixon <br />meet with the Neighborhood Organization <br />at the earliest convenience; Mr. Herendeen <br />seconded; motion approved. <br />B. Certificates of Appropriateness <br />1. 1224 Lincolnway East <br />Mr. Pastor presented a proposal <br />by the owner to install (1) shadow <br />box cedar fencing at different <br />points throughout the property, (2) <br />a concrete apron at the driveway <br />with roll curbing.. A proposal to <br />re -excavate the center of the drive <br />slab to plant grass was also submitted. <br />Mr. Herendeen made a motion to approve <br />the submitted proposal; Mr. Newburn <br />seconded;_ motion approved. <br />
