Historic Landmarks <br />a. Colfax Theatre <br />Mrs. Dixon reported that the HPC received <br />correspondence from Southhold <br />Restorations regarding the Colfax Theatre <br />and the Southern Hotel. Barbara Steele, <br />Director of Southhold, was present to <br />elaborate. Mr. Oxian suggested that Mrs. <br />Dixon put together a financial <br />redevelopment package in support of the <br />Colfax Theatre and Southern Hotel, as <br />well as for general use. <br />6. Public Relations & Community Education <br />No Response <br />7. Personnel <br />a. Resignation of Secretary <br />Mrs. Comer submitted resignation to the <br />Commission and will terminate her <br />services on July 31, 1991. <br />b. Restructuring of Staff <br />In light of current grant situation, Mr. <br />Pastor made several proposals regarding <br />the restructuring of positions for <br />efficient operation with reduced staff. <br />The Commission determined that the <br />current research assistants would assist <br />in surveying, while the present surveyor <br />would combine her work efforts in the <br />field with clerical and data entry work. <br />Mr. Pastor also noted that the Commission <br />had received an automobile as promised by <br />the City. <br />8. Staff Reports <br />Mrs. Dixon attended a meeting in <br />Indianapolis in the month of June <br />concerning grants and certified local <br />governments. <br />V. Old Business <br />A.
