South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting - August 2, 1996 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />b. continued.... <br />0-T -D Corporation stated that 0-T -D Corporation <br />plans to break ground in a few weeks. The plans <br />have been finalized through Panzica Construction. <br />Effective, August 5, 1996, 0-T -D Corporation <br />will split their existing crew to two full-time <br />shifts. The first shift will work from 5:00 a.m. to <br />1:30 p.m. and the second shift will work from <br />1:30 - 10:00 p.m. 0-T -D Corporation has new <br />equipment arriving soon. The proposed purpose <br />for this project is that 0-T -D Corporation closed a <br />Houston operation and consolidated in the South <br />Bend area and have made a commitment to the <br />South Bend community. Most of 0-T -D <br />Corporation suppliers are based in the South Bend <br />area. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, seconded by <br />Mr. Faccenda and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1446 <br />Approving an Application for Real Property Tax <br />Deduction for property located at 3722 Foundation <br />Court in the Airport Economic Development <br />Area. (Aledo Company, L. L. C . ) <br />C. Commission approval requested for Resolution <br />No. 1447 related to Acquisition of property <br />within the West Washington- Chapin <br />Development Area by Eminent Domain. <br />Mrs. Kolata stated that in July 1996, the <br />Redevelopment Commission approved an <br />amendment to the plan for the West Washington - <br />Chapin Development Area by adding one property <br />to the acquisition list.
