Assuming the building is structurally sound, retain <br />1201 S. Lafayette for use as office space and <br />investigate the possiblity of listing it on the <br />National Register. Also retain the International Truck <br />building, developing the rest of the block to the <br />benefit of both buildings. <br />L. The Sanitary Milk Company building should be retained <br />and the possibility of listing it on the National <br />Register should be investigated. The remainder of the <br />block should be developed in a manner which would not <br />adversely affect the Sanitary Milk Company building. <br />If economically feasible, residential structures in the <br />Corridor should be moved to this area. Otherwise, the <br />' <br />block should be developed in a manner which would not <br />detract from the integrity of the structres across Main <br />Street. <br />N. If structurally feasible, the South Bend Foundr� <br />buildinqs should be retained. Official National <br />Register eligibility should be determined which would <br />allow the use of investment tax credits. Future <br />development plans should take this potential <br />eligibility into consideration. <br />O. No historic resources have been identified on this <br />block.
