3. 1041 Riverside Drive (tabled 6/18/90) • Mrs. Dixon reported that Mr. Barncord had looked at the dead tree in the front yard and recommended that it be removed and replaced. Mrs. Choitz moved that the owner be permitted to remove the tree and replace as appropriate according to park department listing. 4. 1120 E. Jefferson (second review) Mrs. Dixon reported that this certificate of appropriateness originally requested the removal of two trees in the treelawn; one obviously dead and one still living. The commission originally approved the removal of the dead tree, but not the living tree. Upon review of the landscape by Custom & Moore (arborists), their recommendation is that both trees, as well as one in the yard, be removed, as they suffer from Dutch Elm disease. The original certificate of appropriateness stated that the owners wanted to replant the entire treelawn. Mrs. Choitz moved the the two trees in the treelawn be removed as requested, and that they be replaced with appropriate trees on • the recommendation of the parks department. The commission also recommends that the tree in the yard be included as an amendment to the c. of a. and be removed as well. Mr. Herendeen seconded. Motion approved. IV. Regular Business A. Minutes - June 18, 1990 Mrs. Choitz moved to approve the minutes as submitted; Mr. Herendeen seconded; -Motion approved. B. Treasurer's Report - Jan. - June 1990 Mrs. Choitz moved to file the treasurer's report for audit; Mr. Herendeen seconded; motion approved. C.
