April 1990, Page 17 <br />BI -MONTHLY REPORT <br />During the months of February and March the Commission has <br />accomplished the following: <br />The surveyors have begun Quadrant 68 and will begin Quadrant <br />57 shortly. <br />The Commission approved a Certificate of Appropriateness for <br />Central High School. <br />The Commission also held public hearing on the Studebaker <br />Corridor issue. <br />The Staff has solicited price quotes on a new computer for <br />the office. <br />The Commission and Staff have approved several Certificates <br />of Appropriateness. <br />The Commission has passed a resolution to work toward the <br />retention of wooded areas and to urge the County and Common <br />Councils to do likewise. <br />The staff has offered technical service and information to <br />• numerous citizens in the community and from outside the <br />area. <br />The Director, Mrs. Choitz, and Mrs. Petrass attended the <br />Quarterly Regional Meeting of Historic Landmarks Foundation <br />of Indiana. <br />The Director met with Alan Goebes of the State Historic <br />Preservation Office regarding the Commission's CLG status <br />review. <br />Jean Dennen was appointed to the Commission by Mayor Kernan <br />in March to fill the position vacated by Gina DeLaurelle. <br />• <br />
