Jav Nimtz, Mr. Odell Newburn, Mrs. <br />Joann Sporleder, Mr. Jed Eide, Mr. Herb <br />Herendeen. <br />Also Present: Mr. Royer Hulsey - The Troyer Group, Mr. <br />Rollin Farrand, Jr. - South Bend Com1Tt:. rii t y <br />School Corporation, Mr. Kevin Boughal - <br />South Bend Tribune. <br />The meeting be,_(an with the presentation of the HAWS drawings <br />of the power plant, smoke stack, and VoTec building. Mr. <br />Hulsey stated that copies of these drawings Would be <br />available to the Commission. <br />The discussion then moved to the various items up for final <br />approval for the Certificate of Appropriateness. All plans <br />for the exterior and landscaping were approved by the <br />Central High School C. of A. Committee members present <br />pending final approval by the Commission as a whole. The <br />plans presented and approve -d are as follows: <br />Roof: Removal of rooftop vents; glass enclosure of <br />atrium areas. Three committee members approved; <br />Mrs. Dennen abstained. <br />Demol it ion: Removal of :ow?r plant, SI110ke stack, and ``IoTe-c <br />building. The demolition is necessary to providle <br />adequate parking for the facility. Mr. vXian <br />voiced opposition _o _his plan; Mrs. Choi and <br />Mrs. Petrass approved; Mrs. Dennen abstained. <br />Windows: Replacement of the existing windows with aluminum <br />of approximately the sande size, light placement, <br />and fenestration; original blue color to be used. <br />Three committee t'fieniber S approved; one abst _.. ned . <br />
