10 <br />Mr. hl imtz made a motion that the order of business be changed permanently, <br />moving Environmental Impact Statements (section + to precede Budget <br />Finance i section a.1 to accommodate the visitors; lr . Newburn seconded. <br />Motion <br />6. Committee Reports <br />a. Environmental Impact Statement <br />1? 107 W. North Shore <br />Mr. Frank Coussens, Jr. of this address has requested <br />permission again to remove two large pine tree_at the front <br />of the house. The original request i.,,€as denied at the July 21, <br />1966 Commission meeting. Mr. I`•.limtz read a letter from Mrs. <br />Kerr (Appendix A). Mr. and Mrs. Kline and Mrs. Kerr spoke in <br />favor of Mr. Coussens request. I'`•lr. hlimtz made a. motion to <br />approve the removal of the trees; Mrs. Petrass seconded. Mr. <br />Ox i a.n amended the motion that the trees be replaced €,,.1 i th <br />appropriate landscaping. Th€e motion was clarified that the <br />removal of the trees would be based on the fact that the <br />character of the pine trees has been altered by excessive <br />trimming of the branches, the trees were not original to the <br />house and block the view of the house, and that the trees seem <br />to be diseased as indicated h~y the dropping of needles and <br />dead branches.
