Historic Districts <br />1) Riverside Drive Report <br />Violet Rohrer representing the Riverside Drive Liaison <br />Committee gave a report on the June 1, 1986 dedication of the <br />district; and the work of the various committees in the <br />• neighborhood. <br />2) Lincolnway East <br />Ms. Kiemnec gave a report stating that three of the liaison <br />committee members no longer live in the neighborhood. Jeff <br />Berndt, Nathan & Tina Martin have recently moved from the <br />neighborhood. Mrs. Choitz suggested that Rita Miner a <br />resident of the neighborhood be approached about serving on <br />this committee. <br />3) Riverside Drive Historic Lighting <br />Ms. Kiemnec read a letter that she wrote to Mr. Joe Pluta <br />regarding the replacement and repair of some of the lights <br />along Riverside Drive (see Appendix A). The Commission has <br />received no response concerning this letter and to date no <br />repairs have been made to the lights. A meeting date is to be <br />arranged with Joann Sporleder, Mr. Joe Pluta, Mr. John Oxian, Ms. Karen <br />Kiemnec, and a representative from I & M Electric Company to <br />discuss what will be done to correct this situation. <br />4) Wayne Street <br />Mrs. Choitz told the Commission that she has been in contact <br />_ with the residents of this area concerning the possibility of <br />the Wayne Street area becoming a historic district.
