Call to Order <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. <br />2. Roll Call <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. John Oxian, Mrs. Martha Choitz, <br />Mr. Charlie Hayes, Mr. Odell Newburn, <br />Mrs. Joann Sporleder, Mr. F. Jay Nimtz, Ms. Karen <br />Kiemnec, and Ms. Elizabeth Straw. <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Michael Beatty, Mrs, Gina DeLaruelle, Mrs. Janeanne <br />Petrass. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Ms. Jeanne Derbeck, South Bend Tribune Reporter; Mr. <br />Brunke, Mr. Wayne Nelson, Mr. William Booker, Mr. <br />. Richard Bennett, Mr. Helen Bennett, Mr. John Kagel, Mr. <br />Brian Crumlish, Mrs. Ruth Crumlish, and Ms. Mary Goerke, <br />residents of the proposed Riverside Drive Historic <br />District. <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br />Mr. Oxian corrected page three, item 7a to indicate that the exterior <br />as well as the interior of 519 N. Michigan was intact. Mrs. Choitz <br />made a motion to approve the minutes with the correction; Mr. Nimtz <br />seconded; motion passed. <br />4. Treasurer's Report <br />No report until February. <br />5. Correspondence <br />a. A letter from the National Trust to all easement holding <br />organizations. <br />b. A copy of the letter written by the Commission to the students and <br />teacher at St. Anthony's School who are working on the small <br />statue of liberty in front of the Courthouse. Also a copy of the <br />letter by the Commission which appeared in the "Voice of the <br />0 <br />
