Call to Order <br />ROOM 1123 COUNTY CITY BUILDING <br />south bend, indiana 46601 (219 284-9798) <br />M I N U T E S <br />Third Floor Conference Room <br />County/City Building <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. <br />2. Roll Call <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. John Oxian, Mrs. Martha Choitz, Mrs. Janeanne <br />Petrass, Mr. Odell Newburn, Mr. Charlie Hayes, <br />Mrs. Joann Sporleder, Mr. F. Jay Nimtz, Ms. Karen <br />Klemnec, and Ms. Elizabeth Straw. <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Mrs. Gina DeLaruelle, and Mr. Michael Beatty. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mrs. Jeanne Derbeck, South Bend Tribune Reporter, <br />Mr. Kevin Butler, the'Commission's Attorney, and Mr. <br />Richard Bennett, Chairperson of the Riverside Drive <br />Historic District Steering Committee. <br />3. Approval of Minutes <br />Mr. Newburn made a motion to approve the September 17, 1984 minutes as <br />mailed; Mrs. Choitz seconded; motion passed. <br />4. Treasurer's Report <br />Mrs. Petrass made a motion to approve the Treasurer's Report as <br />presented; Mr. Newburn seconded; motion passed. <br />5. Correspondence <br />a. A letter from the National Trust on a meeting in conjunction with <br />the Annual Conference on Easement Holding. <br />b. A brochure from The Victorian Society on their annual symposium. <br />c. A flyer from the Northern Indiana Historical Society on their <br />fall bus trip to Fort Wayne. <br />d. A brochure on a new book by the Foundation for Preservation <br />• Technology called The Technology of Historic American Buildings. <br />e. Southhold's Newsletter for October of 1984. <br />
