Budget & Finance <br />Mrs. DeLaruelle made a motion that the Commiss(ion'request funding for a secre- <br />tarial position from the city; Mr. Oxian seconded; motion passed. <br />b. Historic Districts <br />1) 601 Lincolnway East --Receivership Program <br />Ms. Kiemnec read the reply from Southold Heritage regarding the receiver- <br />ship program (Appendix A) as well as a letter. to Ms. Kathy Barnard, the <br />Director of Code Enforcement, from Mr. John-Freidline, the property owner <br />(Appendix .B). Mr. Freidline had not yet contacted Ms. Barnard. Ms. Kiemnec <br />further indicated that she had spoken to Lisa Gilman of Community Develop- <br />ment. Ms. Gilman is working with the Neighborhood Association and suggested <br />they contact the HPC toydiscuss the Receivership Program. <br />C. Historic Landmarks <br />1) Darden Bridge <br />At a request from the County Commissioners, Mr. Oxian made a motion that <br />the Commission cooperate'with the County Commissioners to do a National <br />Register Nomination for the Darden Bridge; Mrs. Sporleder seconded; motion <br />passed. <br />2) Madison School <br />Mr. Oxian suggested that the Commission continue working with the School <br />Administration on Muessel School which is slated to have new windows put <br />in, and he made a motion to table landmark status for the Madison School; <br />Mrs. ''Choitz seconded; motion passed. <br />3) 1133 North Allen <br />The residence at 1133. N. Allen, rated S/11 on the survey, was presented <br />for first reading for landmark status. The owner sent in his consent form. <br />d. Legal <br />No report. <br />e. Public Relations & Community Education <br />1) County Maps <br />Mr. Oxian and Ms. Kiemnec will have a meeting to make suggestions for <br />revisions onbthe new brochure. <br />2) Studebaker Tour Project <br />Mr. Oxian reported that the Studebaker Driver's Club and the Studebaker <br />
