South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Meeting - May 17, 1996 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />d. continued.... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Faccenda, <br />seconded by Mr. Donoho and <br />unanimously carried, the Commission <br />approved the proposal from Peirce & <br />Associates for professional services in <br />the Blackthorn Corporate Park. <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL <br />FROM PEIRCE & ASSOCIATES FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN THE <br />BLACKTHORN CORPORATE PARK <br />e. Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1431 approving an <br />application for real property tax <br />deduction for property located at 4102 <br />William Richardson Court in the <br />Airport Economic Development Area. <br />(Precision Millwork and Plastics, Inc.) <br />Mr. Hunt noted that Precision Millwork <br />and Plastics wishes to apply for a tax <br />abatement for their project. Since the <br />Commission still owns the property, <br />we'd like to have the director authorized <br />to sign the tax abatement petition. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Robert Hunt, <br />seconded by Mr. Donoho and <br />unanimously carried, the Commission <br />authorized the Director to sign the tax <br />abatement petiton on behalf of Precision <br />Millwork and Plastics. <br />Mr. Inks gave the staff report on the <br />project. Precision Millwork and <br />Plastics, Inc. proposes to build a 20,000 <br />sq.ft. steel, masonry and frame building <br />on 3.5 acres of land in the Toll Road <br />Industrial Park. The facility will be used <br />to manufacture custom wood and plastic <br />-7- <br />
