I was examining <br />some correspondence and newspaper clippings about the attempt to put a <br />bill thru the City Council on putting a three year ban on demolition of <br />those buildings which were designated by the Historic Preservation Commission <br />as being a historic structure. At that time G. Burt Ford acted as council <br />for us to delay the voting on this bill. <br />We now have a new president and he would like to know what advantage <br />we could gain by being listed as a historic structure and what is expected <br />of us. I plan to attend the May 9th seminar at the Central Career Center, <br />which I am sure will answer most of my questions, but I thought you might <br />have additional information on this subject.
