Decisions need to be made and without a quorum we are <br />hamstrung. <br />The final stages of completion of our city survey are approaching. <br />John Stamper, who is now enrolled at Northwestern University, in finalizing <br />the summary report and upon receipt of his work, the end is in sight. <br />So we are approaching a new era. Your thoughts and input on HPC <br />priorities is needed as we proceed with future planning. Some activities <br />being developed for HPC consideration include: <br />Legal Committee <br />Procedures for public hearings - John Oxian <br />Procedures for implementing the preservation plan with other <br />�- public agencies - Ruth Price <br />Selection of new HPC attorney - F. Jay Nimtz <br />Amendments to ordinances - <br />Community Education Public Awareness <br />Book publication - <br />Release of Summary Report <br />n/*,Committee <br />Implications of becoming a certified Commission and new tax act - <br />` <br />By-laws Amendments <br />As you are aware', the HPC operateswndarits' by-laws and under Roberts' <br />Rules of Order lch requlreo e quorum to be present for a meeting to be <br />convened. If you find you will be unable to attend our next regular meeting, <br />pleaselet Karen know before Monday noon, Oct.'19.
