September 18, 1978 <br />Page 2 <br />f <br />Register of Historic Places from Ms. Wendy,C. Schlereth. <br />j- We received a new book from the Technical Preservation Services <br />Division, OAHP, Washington, D.G., concerning Epoxys for Wood <br />Regis on Historic Buildings. <br />978 6. Committee Reports <br />Agenda was changed so City Survey Committee reported last. <br />Budget and Finance <br />Ms. Peck distributed a finalized breakdown of our 1979 County <br />Budget: $16,600.00 <br />Historic Districts and Standards <br />The Ordinance for the West North Shore Drive Historic District was <br />filed with the City Clerk on October 4, 1978. <br />Historic Landmarks <br />Mr. Oxian made a motion to have the log house, 54335 Rose Road, <br />be declared an historic landmark. Mr. Kline seconded. All voted <br />in favor. <br />. Mr. Oxian was to get in touch with Mr. Bussert who owns the now - <br />dismantled log house at 63951 Miami, concerning where Mr. Bussert <br />could get help to reconstruct the house. <br />Mr. Oxian made a motion to declare the house at 60649 Hickory Road <br />a landmark. Mrs. Sporleder seconded. All voted in favor. <br />Legal <br />No report. <br />Public Relations and Community Education <br />Ms. Peck reported on Project Landmarks and informed all Commission <br />members that they were invited to the in-service teachers' work- <br />shops to be held each Tuesday afternoon from 3:45 - 5:00 p.m. at <br />the Little Theater at Central High School until December 12, 1978. <br />Preservation Planning <br />Mrs. Price recommended that the Committee make a policy statement as <br />to whether or not we want to involve the Commission now or in the <br />future with battles that are primarily neighborhood or use oriented. <br />Environmental Impact <br />Ms. Peck read Mr. Wasielewski's response to Cole Associates' <br />
