NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />b. continued... <br />WHEREAS, Mary Richmond has <br />demonstrated her commitment to <br />South Bend and the housing needs of <br />its citizens since 1971; and <br />WHEREAS, Mary Richmond has <br />worked with the Redevelopment <br />Commission for 14 years in various <br />capacities representing the Bureau of <br />Housing; and <br />WHEREAS, Mary Richmond has <br />shown special interest in housing <br />concerns for low and moderate <br />income residents, making special <br />contributions in the areas of the <br />Rental Rehab Program and Ix&st <br />W7shington Housing; and <br />WHEREAS, during the tenure of her <br />service the quality of life of the <br />residents of South Bend has improved <br />as a result of the contributions of <br />time, knowledge, and good <br />judgement; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED that the South Bend <br />Redevelopment Commission hereby: <br />1. Commends Mary Richmond for <br />meritorious service and <br />expresses its gratitude for a job <br />well done. <br />
