NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />a. continued... <br />that the proposal would be included <br />on the Commission's agenda for its <br />meeting of January 19. <br />Mr. Rourke, representing the <br />Management Consortium, Inc. <br />showed some sample layouts of the <br />rooms. He noted that Comfort Inns <br />is the fastest growing hotel chain in <br />the country. Comfort Inns <br />(Manangement Consortium) has <br />investigated the local market and <br />feels positive about the investment <br />here. He cautioned getting the <br />financing together may take some <br />time, but they feel good about taking <br />the risk. <br />Jon Hunt asked about the exterior <br />treatment. <br />Mr. Rourke responded that the <br />exterior will be warm brick, similar <br />to the Gonderman Project. <br />Jon Hunt commented that the three <br />projects ( Gonderman, Golf Course <br />and Hotel) will compliment each <br />other well. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Auburn, <br />seconded by Mr. Donoho and <br />unanimously carried, the Commission <br />referred the proposal to the staff for <br />further report and Commission action <br />at the January 19, 1996 meeting. <br />EM <br />COMMISSION APPROVED THE DISPOSITION OF <br />PROPERTY IN THE AIRPORT ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />
