NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />p. continued... <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hcjnacki, seconded <br />by Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved Resolution No. 1394 <br />accepting the transfer of real property from <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />q. Commission authorization requested to <br />begin roof repairs on property located at <br />306 S. Chapin Street. (Bivens House) <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that we received a <br />letter from South Bend Heritage Foundation <br />which is putting together a plan to move and <br />rehab a property at 306 S. Chapin. The <br />Commission owns this property which <br />contains a large house. South Bend Heritage <br />wants to use the house as an African <br />American resource center. Although not all <br />of the details have been worked out on this <br />project, the roof is in very bad shape. South <br />Bend Heritage would like to have the roof <br />repaired. <br />COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION <br />NO. 1394 ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF <br />REAL PROPERTY FROM THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Hojnacki, seconded COMMISSION AUTHORIZED SOUTH BEND <br />by Mr. Hunt and unanimously carried, the HERITAGE TO BEGIN ROOF REPAIRS ON <br />Commission authorized South Bend Heritage PROPERTY LOCATED AT 306 S. CHAPIN <br />to begin roof repairs on property located at STREET. (BIVENS HOUSE) <br />306 S. Chapin Street. (Bivens House) <br />r.
