Commission approval requested for <br />Resolution No. 1376 approving the <br />transfer of real property to the City of <br />South Bend. (House Move Project) <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that Resolution <br />No. 1376 transfers three lots in the 600 <br />block of E. Pennsylvania to the City of <br />South Bend. They will then be transferred <br />to South Bend Heritage as part of our <br />cooperative house moving project. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Auburn, seconded <br />by Mr. Hojnacki and unanimously carried, <br />the Commission approved Resolution <br />No. 1376 approving the transfer of real <br />property to the City of South Bend. (House <br />Move Project) <br />S. Commission approval requested for <br />proposal from EIS for Phase H <br />Environmental Assessment in the Sample <br />Ewing Development Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata explained that the property at <br />814 -818 S. Lafayette (the former Miller <br />Paint Store) had a Phase I environmental <br />assessment which determined that there <br />was some stained soil behind the property <br />that appeared to have paint on it. The soil <br />needs to be tested. The proposal also <br />includes determining how much stained soil <br />needs to be removed as well as testing the <br />dry wells on the property.
