Submission of Section |{ will allow the bidder to be considered for pre -qualification for bids with the City of South Band Department of Public Works. Thereafter, contractors who are pre -qualified must submit a complete application for continuation of "pre - qualified" mbanding, on a form provided by the City ("Responsible Bidder Checklist (1) Pre -Qualified Bidders") by December 3181 for the upcoming calendar year, or within twelve (12) months of obtaining pre - qualified standing. If the status of any item changes within the twelve (12) months, it is the responsibility of the contractor to notify the City. Failure by any pre -qualified contractor to submit its complete application for continuation of "pre -qualified" standing within the time prescribed above shall result in automatic removal of the designation, effective January I of the following year, or immediately following the twelve (12) months ofpre-qualified standing. Hmwever, the "removed" contractor orsubcontractor shall still be permitted to bid on City public works projects, though the contractor must submit all required documents under 6-63 until "pre -qualified" status is re-established.
