OF NORTH LA PORTE <br /> AVENUE <br /> Dear Members of the Council: <br /> In accordance with Municipal Code Section 18-53 .8, a favorable <br /> recommendation is being submitted to the Common Council concerning <br /> the Vacation Petition signed by Bill and Cheryl Rhodes, 917 West <br /> Washington, and Robert and Patrick Lynch, 726 West Washington, <br /> South Bend, Indiana, to vacate the following alley: <br /> The first north-south alley west of North <br /> LaPorte Avenue from the north right-of-way <br /> line of West Washington Street to the south <br /> right-of-way line of the first intersecting <br /> alley north of West Washington Street, for a <br /> distance of approximately 172 feet and a width <br /> of approximately 14 feet. Part situated in <br /> Rockafeller' s Third Addition to the City of <br /> South Bend, Indiana. <br /> For your information, the Board of Public Works received favorable <br /> recommendations from the Legal Department, Fire Department, Area <br /> Plan Commission, Department of Economic Development and the <br /> Division of Engineering concerning this vacation.
