NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />f. continued... <br />abatement, the project will generate <br />approximately $40,699 in new taxes. <br />Therefore, the cost of the abatement will <br />be approximately $80,190 over the three <br />year period. <br />Mr. Tucker, representing Business <br />Systems showed preliminary drawings of <br />the new Business Systems building. It <br />will be a steel building with brick all <br />around the building to a height of 8' and <br />a brick office extending out the front. <br />He noted that Business Systems' move <br />from Grape Road to the Blackthorn area <br />is the culmination of a downsizing and <br />restructuring resulting from competition <br />in the industry. They are no longer <br />operating a retail business. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. Auburn, <br />seconded by Mr. Hunt and unanimously <br />carried, the Commission approved <br />Resolution No. 1359 approving an <br />application for real property tax <br />deduction for property located at 3234 <br />Nimtz Parkway in the Airport Economic <br />Development Area. Commission approval requested for <br />Loan in connection with the Roof Loan <br />Program in connection with the <br />Bureau of Housing for property <br />located at 509 W.
