NEW BUSINFSS (Cont.) <br />j . continued... <br />Development Area Design Review <br />Committee, beginning January 1, 1995. <br />k. Staff report on acquisition of property <br />in the Sample -Ewing Development <br />Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the staff has <br />received two counter offers which it <br />recommends accepting. The first is from <br />Wilber and Essie Lacy in the amount of <br />$20,000 for property located at 529 E. <br />Ohio Street. The original purchase offer <br />was in the amount of $18,250. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, <br />seconded by Ms. Auburn and <br />unanimously carried, the Commission <br />accepted the counter offer from Wilber <br />and Essie Lacy in the amount of $20,000 <br />for property located at 529 E. Ohio <br />Street. <br />The second counter offer is from John <br />and Sadie Smith for a small vacant lot <br />adjacent to 629 E. Keasey. The <br />original purchase offer was in the <br />amount of $675. The counter offer is <br />$1, 000. The staff recommends accepting <br />the counter offer. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, <br />seconded by Ms. Auburn and <br />unanimously carried, the Commission <br />accepted the counter offer in the amount <br />of $1,000 from John and Sadie Smith for <br />sit <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE COUNTER <br />OFFER FROM WILBER AND ESSIE LACY IN <br />THE AMOUNT OF $20,000 FOR PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 529 E. OHIO STREET <br />COMMISSION ACCEPTED THE COUNTER <br />OFFER IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000 FROM <br />JOHN AND SADIE SMITH FOR VACANT <br />LAND IN THE SAMPLE -EWING <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA <br />
