Staff report on acquisition of property <br />in the Sample -Ewing Development <br />Area. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the staff has <br />received two counter offers which it <br />recommends accepting. The first is from <br />Wilber and Essie Lacy in the amount of <br />$20,000 for property located at 529 E. <br />Ohio Street. The original purchase offer <br />was in the amount of $18,250. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Donoho, <br />seconded by Ms. Auburn and <br />unanimously carried, the Commission <br />accepted the counter offer from Wilber <br />and Essie Lacy in the amount of $20,000 <br />for property located at 529 E. Ohio <br />Street. <br />The second counter offer is from John <br />and Sadie Smith for a small vacant lot <br />adjacent to 629 E. Keasey. The <br />original purchase offer was in the <br />amount of $675. The counter offer is <br />$1, 000.
