South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />CNpgular Meeting - January 20, 1995 <br />6. NEW BUSINESS (Cont.) <br />a. continued... <br />and in the development of the East Bank <br />of the river; and <br />Whereas, during the tenure of his service <br />the quality of life of the residents of <br />South Bend has improved as a result of <br />the contributions of time, knowledge, and <br />good judgement; <br />Now, therefore, be it resolved that the <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />hereby commends Theo F. Sharp for <br />meritorious service and expresses its <br />gratitude for a job well done. <br />Adopted at a Regular Meeting of the <br />IL South Bend Redevelopment Commission, <br />held on January 20, 1995 in Room 1308 <br />County -City Building, 227 Wst Jefferson <br />Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that the Commission <br />received a letter from Mr. Sharp that <br />was also addressed to the Mayor and the <br />Common Council. The letter reads as <br />follows: <br />Dear Community Leaders: <br />As 1 leave the Redevelopment <br />Commission after two years of service to <br />the community, 1 would like to say thank <br />you for the opportunity for me to <br />participate in the positive evolution of <br />South Bend. I have lived here for thirty- <br />two years and have witnessed vast <br />-5- <br />
