PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Mrs. Kolata reported that construction is <br />underway on Schafer Gear Works' new building <br />in the Studebaker Corridor. They expect to <br />complete construction by the end of November. <br />Habitat for Humanity constructed three homes in <br />Monroe Park during their building blitz in <br />August. One of the homes is a two -story home <br />which fits in very will with the character of the <br />other homes on Clinton Street. She congratulated <br />Habitat on the success of that project. <br />Mr. Wolf commented that CCA has had a lot of <br />inquiries lately. He feels that is a positive sign <br />that South Bend has good momentum going. <br />Mrs. Kolata noted that Macri's expects to open <br />their new restaurant and deli within a few weeks. <br />They are trying to open for Notre Dame's first <br />home football game.
